The temperature probe is a low voltage wire that connects to the Saunacore digital controls. The cord is approximately 12' in length. The control can be installed up to 100' away from the heater, and a longer wire can be spliced in for this.
Faulty probes will return a "ts" error on the control, indicating that the wire is loose or damaged. The wire is typically secured in the wall, with only the metal tip exposed in the room. Connecting to the digital controls, the probe provides an accurate reading of the room's temperature.
